Following the example of Jesus, we want to be on the lookout for future leaders, investing time in them, teaching them, modelling a life of holiness and grace. As disciples of Jesus, we are to make disciples for Jesus – in our whole life, in every relationship in every moment.

ADM Chaplain Jacinth Myles retires after 11 years of service
After 11 years of faithful ministry, Rev. Jacinth Myles is retiring from her role at ADM as Chaplain to the Deaconesses and Retired Deacons. She will be replaced by Rev. Jan Donohoo, who will take on the role of ADM Chaplain.

ADM is pleased to announce the appointment of Jo Gibbs as its new CEO, effective 17 November 2020.
Jo Gibbs joins ADM from St Pauls Castle Hill, where she has been the Care and Assistant Discipleship Minister. Prior to this, Jo spearheaded work in international and cross-cultural settings.

Mary Andrews College has appointed Dr Louise Gosbell as Dean of Students. The new position has been created to strengthen support for students from application to graduation.
Dr Kate Harrison Brennan to take new role in leadership for Civil Society program
After almost five years of service as CEO of Anglican Deaconess Ministries, Dr Kate Harrison Brennan has accepted a new role at another philanthropic organisation to lead a Civil Society program. The move builds on Harrison Brennan’s lifelong pursuits to address economic injustices and cycles of disadvantages, areas she has addressed throughout her professional and educational careers.

Strong Women Talking: Out of Abuse and into a Voice
Before Sono Leone, an indigenous woman in Queensland, turned 22 years old, she had experienced domestic violence not unlike what many other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across Australia have endured. In fact, indigenous women are 32 times more likely to be hospitalised due to family violence than non-Indigenous women, according to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. For Sono, though, experiencing abuse first-hand led her out of the darkness and into a relationship with Jesus.
